Sigma 24-105mm f4 OS HSM DG Review

Posted in Blog, Reviews, Videos | 0 comments

I got my hands on a sigma 24-105mm f4 OS HSM DG to review and I compared it to my favourite walking around lens, the Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L.  This is a fantastic lens and for anyone looking for a good all-rounder I would highly recommend it! Watch the video to see my full verdict and check out the comparative images below to form your own opinion!

All these images are straight out of the camera. The only thing done to them is that they were RAW files and then converted to JPEG and watermarked using Lightroom. No sharpening was applied and they are the highest quality Lightroom would allow. All the meta-data should be there and should you want to know anything about any of the images just ask!

Pretty serious vignetting, but fixable in post.

Sigma 24-105mm f4 1/5 iso 1600. An amazing amount of detail for 1/5 of a second hand-held

More untouched images taken from my first night with this lens.

f4 1/6 iso 2000. Another example of how good the optical stabilisation is on this lens.

And some of my edited images taken with this lens.

And lastly, one of my favorite photos that I’ve taken with this lens. I found this outside one of the “classiest” nightclubs near us, I love that they didn’t even spell it right.
